The Starling 15 Gala is a special party to celebrate Starling Arts turning 15! We are also celebrating 15 years of the Starling Arts choirs. The evening will feature performances by the Starling Voices and Flock, and there will be food and drink throughout the evening.

The Gala is a formal event. Black and/or Teal evening wear is requested for all guests and performers please.

6-10pm. We encourage everyone to arrive for the event start at 6pm, with our first performances starting at 6.30pm. The event will finish at 10pm.

Please note that the performances at the Gala will not have traditional staging - performances will take place around the space, alongside speeches and other presentations. There will be some chairs and tables for guests, but these will not be laid out in traditional 'theatre style' seating. We expect most audience will stand.

We welcome guests to attend the gala, but please note that due to capacity and the nature of the event, this is most suitable for 'invested' guests such as partners, family or best friends. It's not the sort of Starling event you need to flog to your colleagues and neighbours.

Everyone attending the Gala needs a ticket, whether performing or not. This is because it is a party event with food and drinks included. The Gala is costing several thousand pounds to produce, so we need to cover costs. We are confident that the evening will feel like good value for money!

We are offering everyone the chance to book for one guest initially, to ensure that everyone gets that opportunity. We are confident that we will be able to accommodate more guests in time, but we need to ensure that everyone gets a chance to buy their own ticket and bring someone if they’d like to. Additional tickets will be available from Wednesday 20th November.

The Starling 15 Gala is for adults only, as alcohol will be served. We are running a separate event for families to attend. Please get in touch if you would also like to attend this.

No. All ticket sales will take place in advance via our website so we can budget for food and drink. There will be no door sales.

All tickets include a welcome drink (alcoholic and non-alcoholic option available), plus light food.

There are three types of tickets:

• £30 ticket - includes light food, welcome drink and x1 additional drinks token

• £40 ticket - includes light food, welcome drink and x3 additional drinks tokens

• £46 ticket - includes light food, welcome drink and x5 additional drinks tokens

Food and drink will be pre-ordered based on ticket sales. Any surplus drink will be available for sale separately near the end of the event. We cannot guarantee the availability of drinks not ordered in advance, and drinks paid for on the night will be at an additional cost. Please bring cash in order to buy any additional drinks.

Casual food will be served as canapés and light bites. The bar will feature soft drinks plus a small selection of wine and other alcoholic options.

Please let us know any allergies and dietary requirements when booking. It’s important we have this information in advance.

The event will take place at London's Crypt on the Green. With vaulted ceilings, parquet flooring and exposed brickwork, this historic Crypt is a magnificent and unique venue in the heart of London.

The Crypt’s nearest station is Farringdon, which is a 5 minute walk away. It is very well connected, with Circle, Metropolitan, and Hammersmith & City underground lines, the Elizabeth Line, and Thameslink services. Chancery Lane (Central line) and Angel (Northern line) are also nearby. King's Cross St Pancras is also within walking distance. 

There is no parking at the venue. The streets around the church have limited parking. This parking is restricted to permit holders between 8:30am-1:30pm on Saturdays, but becomes free for anyone to use out of those hours. Other options for those attending are NCPs (national car parks). There are three nearby, the nearest of which is a ten minute walk away at Saffron Hill.

We're afraid that due to the age and nature of the building, there is no step-free access. Please contact us if you or a guest has access needs.

There will be an unattended area to store luggage, bags and coats at your own risk. We will have paid security on the door, so only Starling members and their guests will be in attendance. We recommend keeping your valuables on you.

No food or drink may be brought into the event without prior permission. The use or possession of drugs on site is strictly prohibited. Guests may be subject to bag checks by security on arrival.
