Singing For the Soul

There's nothing that can't be made better by singing in a choir. Give me a problem and it'll seem less worrying after a good sing. Summer School is coming!

This weekend the Starling Arts team head down to Devon for preparations for their fifth annual Summer School!

The weekend will kick off with a fundraising coffee morning at Chagford's Endecott House, with all proceeds going towards this year's production, Return to Aesop. All participants, their friends and family, and the local community are welcome to come along, enjoy a slice of cake and chat to the show's writers, Starling Arts' co-directors Anna Shields and Emily Cook.

In the afternoon, the directors will be running a fun workshop audition to allocate parts to over 40 young people who are involved in this year's production. With exciting singing, dance and acting activities planned, the afternoon will serve as a great warm up to the Summer School, which takes place in August this year.

Please come and join us for our Coffee Morning between 10.00 and 12.00 in Endecott House, Chagford.

Auditions for those already registered will take place between 14.00 and 17.00.
