Here's to a Very Starling 2018!

As 2018 rolls in, we look ahead at the exciting things in the pipeline for the coming year! 

At Starling Arts HQ we have a very exciting year on the horizon! We'll be back with our choirs and regular workplace singing sessions from next week. We'll be starting an exciting range of new musical arrangements from the world of pop and musical theatre for our wonderful choir community. Expect everything from cheesy 90s anthems to James Bond classics. We still have one or two final spaces for new or returning members - get in touch if you'd like to be part of our friendly and fun choir family this year! 

We will be looking forward to our first ever away weekend with our choirs, at a country house in February. The Starling team are busy putting everything into place for our singing and social retreat, with everything from harmonies and music and dance workshops, to wellbeing and fun. We'll report back to share our adventures! 

We're running some exciting workshops across London and beyond, including at The Music & Drama Education Expo at the end of February and in various workplaces. 

In March, we're excited to return to the Phoenix Cavendish Square for a Spring Cabaret. With performances from our choirs and soloists and small groups from within our community, our cabarets are always a sell-out, so watch this space for news of tickets going on sale in the coming weeks. Pop Thursday 22nd March in your diary now! 

In the spring, we'll be opening our doors to anyone who wants to participate in our musical theatre module, exploring extracts from a popular, modern musical over the course of a few weekends, for performance alongside our choirs at our summer concert which takes place in July! Save the date for July 7th and 8th at the John McIntosh theatre.

The Autumn term sees our choirs working towards our second, very exciting European tour and lots of other exciting festive engagements.
